Squirrel Mummy

Three runs at the same idea.

A mummified squirrel was found dried up inside a wall during a remodel. That became a game — three times over, each one a different answer to “what does it feel like to be very small in a bar after closing?” They are all still playable. Start anywhere.

1 A brick-walled building interior in cross-section: six stacked floors joined by ladders, acorns scattered on the platforms, a green exit door at the top right, and a HUD showing floor, score, lives and a countdown.

The Gate — puzzle rooms & a climb to the roof

A password gets you through the door, then four rooms — the Gate, the Tomb, the Archive, the Abyss — each one a puzzle. Solve your way down and the payoff is a Donkey Kong-style platformer: climb the ladders to the rooftop exit before the walls seal Nutkin in for good.

Needs the password. The puzzle flow is the game, so the front door is locked on purpose — send friends the password along with the link.

2 An angled overhead view of a warmly lit bar with a pool table, stools and lamps. A small bandaged squirrel stands between two chairs, golden acorns dotted around the floor, with a score, timer and JUMP button overlaid.

Acorn Run — a ¾-view bar to loot

The camera lifts off the wall and tips over the room. Now you can walk in eight directions and pass behind or in front of the furniture, which turns the bar from a diagram into a place. Grab eighteen acorns, stash them in the nest before dawn, and your run goes on the leaderboard.

3 First-person view from bar-top height at night: two bandaged squirrel paws in the foreground, a red neon sign glowing in the window, moonlight falling in a pale rectangle across the floorboards, brass beer taps to the right.

The Last Last Call — inside the room, 18 cm tall

The camera goes all the way down to the squirrel's eyeline: 22 centimetres off the floor, in a full 3D bar lit only by a neon sign and the streetlight outside. The bar top is a landscape. Every texture, every sound and the squirrel itself are generated by code — nothing is a downloaded asset.
